Cynthia Malvitz-Overly, O.D.
Cynthia Malvitz-Overly, O.D., MBA, F.A.A.O. is a graduate of Saint Norbert College and Indiana University. She completed her residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. She has over 20 years of clinical experience in optometry, including 6 years of active duty in the U.S. Air Force.
Dr. Malvitz-Overly's credentials include membership in the American Optometric Association, Wisconsin Optometric Association, and board certification in the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease. She is one of only 43 fellows of the American Academy of Optometry practicing in the state of Wisconsin. Dr. Malvitz-Overly is treasurer of the Northeast Shore Optometric Society and director at large for the Wisconsin Optometric Association. In November 2009, she completed a case report, which was published in the peer reviewed Journal of the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Malvitz-Overly has had LASIK surgery herself and is experienced in co-managing refractive and cataract surgery. In her spare time she enjoys reading, walking, biking, and volunteering as a Master Gardener.
